Light Therapy

Nothing beats the winter blahs like a trip to the sun. I am home and ready to begin life with a fresh attitude, thanks to friends and family and 9 days of sunshine.Tiff and Kyle are set up in their nice rental home while Kyle works on his Masters degree. Tiff fixed us this amazing lunch. I am now inspired to eat healthy.
Thank you Tiffany for being such an inspiration.

On our visit on the way down, Kyle was in China, but Anna was there which was an added bonus. Her great attitude and energy after chemo are awe inspiring.

Farther south we enjoyed a full week of being spoiled at Gary and Beth's house.
They took us around to all of the local tourist spots.

on Tues. Beth and I had lunch at this beautiful old hotel.
More sight-seeing in the sun.

A cute western town where we ate dinner.

On Thurs. Ken and I drove even farther south to visit my dear friend Barbra. I hadn't seen her for 22 years and I hadn't had a real conversation with her for nearly 40 years. She and her husband, Mike, showed us around Tombstone.

Boot hill.

Seeing Barbra was one of the highlights of my trip.
She introduced me to the church and being friends with her changed my life.
Without her I wouldn't have my husband or kids or any of my Utah friends.

Saying good-bye on her 4 acre ranchette.

Barb's super nice husband, Mike.
On our way home, Kyle was home from China and we had another visit with Tiff and Fam.

Also, on the way home we met up with Corinne and Kevin on their way home from thier vacation.

I don't think I've ever had a vacation do me this much good.
It was wonderful and I'm so grateful.
