Asher's 2nd birthday and other fun in CO

Last weekend my mother and I went to Aurora,CO to visit Michelle and her kids, to celebrate Asher's 2nd birthday.
The first order of business whenever I get there, is to do a sticker book with Kimberley.
Oliver is happy just to crawl around the play room and get into stuff.
The next thing to do is color with Kimberley.

Asher just wanted to dig in the sandbox...also very fun.

Oliver gets aquainted with his great-grandma, Nana.

Bims likes to go into the "forest"and pretend that something scarey is coming.

Here we are at Chili's.

Did someone say chocolate volcano cake and ice cream?

Picking cheerios off the floor is so delicious.

The day of the party.
Asher gets a giant "2" balloon.

He may be called Asher-dasher,
but he is also Asher-climber, but it doesn't rhyme.

Hooray for pizza!!!

Present time.

He got plenty of help unwrapping his presents from Kimberley and his cousins, Gavin and Tristin.

A TWO cake...yummy!!

The obligatory picture of the kid with cake on his face.

Ollie is chillin' with Mommy.

A new dump truck from Nana for his birthday.

Oliver is happy for a while just to watch.

Kimberley and I made a swell castle.

Shhh!!! Something is coming.

Kimberely is a scarey witch.

"Hi Grammy! I'm too cute."

Why do boys like to wrestle?
I thought Oliver would cry, but he was laughing and loving it.

Time to go back home to Utah.

Where was Blaine? He went hunting with his brother.

Random, misc., this and that.

A week ago we had Tiff and Kyle over for dinner. I did a really lousy job of getting photos, mostly because Ellie was in the mood to hide. Here's my new favorite spot. I'm creating a cozy little room out on the deck.

Betty and I went to Gardner Village last week. It was soooooo much fun.

Cubby likes to cuddle while I read my scriptures out on the deck.

Tiff and the kids came back last week so that we could finish up a project the she has been working on for a year. The kids did their best to have fun while we worked.

Why don't adults have this kind of energy??

Anyway, hours later, our labors are complete!

We quilted around each of those squares, on the machine.

I, too, have been crafting this week.

I got my inspiration up at Gardner Village last week for this cute hanging thingy. It was a quick and very fun thing to make.

As grandkids are added, I plan to make more name cards, but here are the first 3.

Yesterday we had David and Kami over for dinner and I forgot to even take a picture of them. I promise you, they looked really cute.
