Grant moved out of our basement into his own place, on Feb 24th. We loved having him here, but we love it even more that he is out on his own.
His new place is really nice. It has three bedrooms and two baths and a nice, roomy living area.
Just a couple of days later was Grant's 30th birthday. Julie and I planned a surprise party for him at our place. (That's Julie's dad in the foreground.)
I made an extra tall cake.
Julie prepared a Grant Williams trivia game, complete with childhood photos.
It was really cool.
Grant had a really great birthday, thanks to Julie and to all of his friends who came to celebrate with us.
IN MARCH...Michelle and Blaine brought the kids by so they could go on a little retreat to Idaho.
They took Evie with them, but the rest of us had fun all week.

When Ollie got done the whole floor was covered in Easter grass.
Kimbereley and Eliza had fun playing Candy Land and coloring, etc.
On Sunday we had dinner and the kids had their own little table.
We had the pleasure of Blaine and Michelle's presence both before and after their trip up north.
Grant can sleep through anything. Olivia really wasn't sleeping but he didn't know that. I think Julie is just faking it.
In the same room while Grant was asleep the kids ran in circles around the room.
Where is Ollie? Anyway, here's Grant and Julie with 5 of the kids.
Now I am all caught up. We have some exciting trips and stuff coming up so I'll for sure post those when they happen.

I loved the update. I'm glad I got to see a pic of the super tall cake cuz I never got to see it in person. You have a gorgeous family.
I was not faking it! Ok, maybe just a little. But I really did just want to sleep! So glad you finally updated. I haven't seen any pictures from Grant's birthday because I was too busy to take any. Can't wait to see future updates! :)
