Never can say good bye

I really don't like the word good bye because it has such a finality to it.
So I think I'll just say, "See ya later..." Tiff and Kyle and the kids are moving to AZ so Kyle can attend grad school. It has been so wonderful having them here in Utah and we are going to miss them so much. Two years is a long time, but what's worse is that who knows where Kyle will find a job when he's done with school. Chances are it won't be in Utah. So, with sadness we attended a farewell party for them on Friday. Next time I see those kids they will have grown so much. Okay, I've just got to stop this because it makes me so sad. The end.

Happy Fourth of July

Saturday through Monday we went on a little road trip to the north. Our first stop was Tony Grove Lake. It was beautiful and we had a little picnic.

On the drive we saw many yellow wild flowers.

Our next stop was Bear Lake. Here is a view from the overlook.

The Malones showed us that the best thing in Bear Lake is the raspberry shakes.

We spent the night in Montpelier Idaho, went to church there, then we drove to Jackson Hole. We went on a long walk up to a lake. The walk was the prettiest I've ever seen. Everything was soooooo very green.

The walk took us along side a river.

This was the most beautiful lake I've ever seen. It was quite perfect. It is called Phelps Lake.

The next day the guys went for a drive while Corinne and I shopped downtown Jackson. We didn't buy much but we had fun looking.
We ate lunch with the guys before we left to drive home.

It was a pretty perfect weekend.
