Grandma's Funeral

It's always sad when a loved one passes away. Ken has been feeling a bit down, lately. But, it is wonderful when that loved one lived a good life and always kept their covenants. This is the case with Ken's mom. She lived a long life and always dedicated her time to the Lord and her family. We know she is with Grandpa now and is loving it.She was buried on Saturday in Declo, next to her husband, Vern. We had a great turnout. So many family members traveled from far away to attend. ( Note Ken and Grant as pallbearers.)

The best part about a funeral is that it is a great family reunion.

I was waiting to get a picture of all of Devon's kids, but Troy and Sheri and their girls left. Brett and his family had just moved to Montana and they weren't able to come.

It was a quick trip to Idaho, but it was so wonderful to get to see everyone. Why is it that we only get together for funerals? We need to change that.
