It's kinda sad, but we haven't spent too much time up the canyon this year. But Monday evening we took a ride up to see the autumn leaves. Unfortunately, the sun was going down so the light wasn't very good. The colors don't show up so well in this photo, but it was amazing and beautiful. You'd think that after a certain number of years I'd get to the point where I wasn't that impressed with the beautiful leaves, but I never seem to tire of it. Nature always has a way of wowing me. God didn't have to make it so the leaves would turn pretty colors in the fall, but He did. Why do you think that is? I think it's because he is an artist, and that's just the way he thinks, and I think that he did it so that we could pause every year and realize how wonderful this world really is.

Fall is awesome! I think every season has it's perks, but I think Fall is my favorite.
I was just thinking about those leaves and how we haven't had time to get up to see them either. We used to take the Sundance ski lift every year, to relax and enjoy nature for a while. You can't think about anything else because you can't get off! It's marvelous.
Glad you got out. Maybe we'll do the same one of these days... :)
Every sunrise, every sunset, every change of seasons is a simple gift of love that our ever creative Heavenly Father shows us his handiwork. But one of his greatest gifts is the beauty in each of us to see and acknowledge with wonder and awe. Thanks for sharing.
