NEVER say never!!

Okay, so once I said that I never wanted to be the gospel doctrine teacher in Sunday school. Then what happens? I am asked to be the gospel doctrine teacher. I did that for over 2 years and it was a great experience, and I really grew a lot. One time I said, I didn't think I'd like to be the nursery leader, and you guessed it, I was the nursery leader. Well, one thing I said that I never, ever wanted to do was Cub Scouts. Okay, I know you know what comes next. Yes, I am now the Wolf Den lady. I thought that since Grant was no longer a cub scout, for about 20 years now, that I would be safe. Very few grandma-temple workers serve in the cub scouts. All three of these callings have come in my present ward. I think that our bishop has been channeling my thoughts or something. I know that I'll love my calling. I always end up loving what ever I am asked to do. But I have some advise for all of you, NEVER SAY NEVER!!

You'll be terrific. One of my first cub scout leaders was Lou Keating. How suprised I was to find her at church the 1st Sunday I attended. You'll be a great influence on these moldable minds.
