This is my dear friend, Betty. We have been friends for over 30 years and I never seem to take pictures of her. We go out to lunch and shopping whenever we can, and that just isn't the type of activity that one usually takes photos of. So, the other day I decided that I didn't want to go through my entire life without taking a picture of Betty. Here we are shopping.
We met when we were both working sewing drapes. We each eventually started our own drapery businesses. I continued in the drapery business but she opened a pre-school in her home. Both Grant and Michelle went to her pre-school and I am convinced that when she retired a couple of years ago, we lost one of the best pre-schools in the area. She has raised 6 wonderful, sweet boys and is now a grandma, like me. I'm sure we'll be friends forever!!

It is so nice to have good life-long friends. We have a few ourselves, and it makes life so much more enjoyable.
Life long friends are the best!
Marilyn, you're great. So I can only assume that Betty is too. What a happy picture.
I love your haircut Marilyn! You may have had it like that for a while, but it looks really good!
Sounds fun. Me and Justin love the name Betty. I haven't seen you in a while. We should plan something.
